GTR Designs started out as a Custom guitar shop located in Farmingdale New York. We specialized in guitar and hardware design and manufacturing on a one off basis (Custom guitars). Because of our high quality paint work we soon became known for our custom paint and vintage paint repair work with Polyester, Polyurethane and Nitro. We also painted for many high end custom builders in the New York and metro areas.
Another side of our business laid in working with well established guitar brands in the US and Europe requiring reliable manufactures. Also connecting their product with the right factories for the specific project. Furthermore to follow thru on the development, execution and production of their products to ensuring they were made within the scope of their vision and budgets for the brand owners. The last phase of our business was to arrange for quality control personnel to ensure the products shipped met the customers quality level before they were ever stuffed and shipped.
This brings us to date. We have our own factory located in Changyi City Shandong Provence. This factory is solely American owned. After working with this factory for the past 15 years we bought it. As players, luthier's and now production manufacturer’s we are passionate about what we do. We understand the instrument and the importance of quality and value. We also have a deep understanding of the market and the needs of western customers as we have been in that position and on that side of the pond for many years.
